I began my career as a truck dispatcher managing reefer and dry van loads, then progressed to Operations Manager and Compliance Director — overseeing dispatch, maintenance, safety, recruitment, and marketing in high-volume trucking operations.

This real-world experience showed me what truly works on the road. After becoming an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor in 2010, I saw too many carriers burdened by impractical systems created by consultants who’d never handled a load or faced an ELD issue.
